What’s the Perfect Gift to Celebrate 104 Years?

A Dozen Delicious Cookies From So Frickin’ Good and A Smile From Used Car Manager Matt Dunlap!
Bringing happiness to the lives of others is a great way to give back to the community and get to know those around you. February can be a difficult time to spread cheer, especially during the cold winter season but there are still many ways to bring a little extra joy to those in need…Such as dropping off a dozen So Frickin Good cookies to local places like Vancrest.
Meet Gladys. She is celebrating turning 104 years old this week. That is quite the achievement! It was such a pleasure getting to chat with her and experiencing her humor for the short time we visited.

The residents of nursing homes and assisted living facilities can often become lonely, so a dozen homemade cookies can be a real treat. (All pun intended) Not only will they taste delicious, but they also provide a much-needed connection with the outside world.
Giving Back to Your Community Is One of the Most Rewarding Things You Can Do
It can take many forms, from volunteering your time, to donating money or goods to causes you believe in, or simply lending a helping hand to those who need it. These activities can have a positive effect on both the giver and the receiver, so it pays to get involved. You can start small, by helping out a neighbour in need, or by volunteering your time at a local charity.
As your confidence and resources grow, you can look at larger scale initiatives, like running fundraising events or joining a service organization. Giving back to your community can give you a sense of purpose, teach you new skills, and provide an opportunity to connect with those around you, like Gladys!
